Read First Before Buy Sensio 13149 Cucina Versatile Sandwich
I'm a big fan of panini sandwiches so I bought this unit for camping and road trips. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the product, it's always hard to tell from the pictures you see online but this sandwich maker appears to be well built. I tested the sandwich maker with an old battery I had in my shop, I knew the battery was weak so I wasn't sure how well the sandwich maker would actually heat. What a surprise, in just a few minutes I was seeing steam and before long I had two beautifully toasted hot sandwiches. I made the sandwiches thick and there was no problem melting cheese and cooking them completely through, I actually had to let the sandwiches cool down a little before they could be eaten. I bought the Power Hunt product because I had read that the other brands that plug into a cigarette lighter don't work, I would definitely recommend this sandwich maker and now that I have the power strip I think I may try their coffee maker and grill.

BalasHapusI wouldn't buy this as anything but a panini maker. But, it does a great job for that. I'm buying another because my kid came to visit and it disappeared with her when she left!
BalasHapusGreat buy. The panini press on this is awesome. The waffle maker is adequate, and the fact that the grates are machine washable makes clean up a breeze. I've had it for a year an defenetly no regrets.

The appliance makes great waffles, and depending on how crisp you like
your waffle, you bake them f for 3,4, or 5 minutes.
Don't waste your money on the super expensive waffle makers.
This little baby is perfect.
Used this last night to make ham and cheese. I used real ham (not lunch meat) so the sandwich was quite thick. Did not have any problems with the latch not closing. EASY to clean, the trays pop out and have cool tabs to you don't have to worry about burning your fingers.
BalasHapusI like it very much; best thing is the removable plates which can be dishwashered. It replaced one that did not have such plates and I never felt it was clean enough. I didn't want us getting sick so I upgraded.
BalasHapusLove this little machine! The three different style heating plates are removeable and dishwasher safe which makes this little thing super easy to clean. The capacity it pretty good too. I've used french bread for some sandwiches and it still smushes down and latches. It's also pretty space saving as well.
