Read First Before Buy Toastabags Reusable Non Stick Sandwich Grilling
This is the first time I have written a review because that takes time and I usually dont have much of that. These toatser bags are absolutely fantastic for simple and quick toastable sandwiches that even kids can do. I taught my six year old to remove the sandwhich from the bag with toaster tongs to avoid burns from melting cheese and she is now the star sandwich maker for the family. She has successfully used the bags on her own more than 25 times. The fact that there is no need for butter or oils on the bread is a huge bonus as well. The bag is simply limited by the natural width of the bag itself as well as the toaster slot size. While I would not make a thick yummy Ruben in the things, I could possibly make an average thin one! In a traditional vertical toaster gravity may also be somewhat of a problem for melting items that are not compressed between two slices of bread. However, the application of frozen food items (nuggests, fish sticks and the like) works just great. I have found them so practical I keep some at work as well as having spares to use as I have a four slot toaster and can make four sandwiches in under three minutes. If the bags are wiped clean with a paper towel right after use there really is no significant clean up. Will deffinetly be buying more when these are worn out!

Used bags about 5 times now. They work great. I've left 2 bags with my local deli so they can reuse them each time I order gluten free toast since the deli does not have an exclusive toaster for gluten free bread. These are a great idea for celiac patients or those following a gluten free diet looking to prevent cross contamination. Will be sure to take them next time I go on vacation.

BalasHapusThese bags are absolutely wonderful! My sister told me about them and I had to try them. She uses the bags in a regular toaster and I use them in a toaster oven and we both get optimal results. We have used them for re-heating sandwiches and it brings back the nice crisp on both bread and sub rolls. They are also wonderful for pizza and makes it just like when it was fresh from the restaurant. I also use them to reheat french fries and onion rings. I will use these bags for the rest of my life, I just can't believe that I did not know about them sooner than now. No more wasted food because of microwaving to sogginess!
BalasHapusAn envelope for sandwiches physically describes the product. I sliced extra sharp cheddar, placed it on wheat bread smeared with butter; and put in the toaster, a few minutes later, VOILA!! grilled cheese perfection!!! One important note: I have a toaster suitable for bagels ie the slot is wider than a normal toaster, so that may be significant. This product works and works excellently.
BalasHapusI bought these bags so my family could use the new toaster and not contaminate it for me and my gluten free items. They work great. I made my son grilled cheese right in the bag and clean up was a snap. Glad I bought these!!!!
BalasHapusI've used this a lot since purchasing and now I wonder what I ever did before I had these...it makes making a grilled cheese in a pan seem so outdated!
BalasHapusThese are a total lifesaver. Having to eat gluten free, this is the only way I can eat sandwiches for lunch at work. And I don't know how to describe it, but they really seal in the crispyness of the bread. I am about to buy another set because I keep forgetting to bring these into the office after I have brought them home to wash. I do wish they were a little easier to clean - some burnt spots have formed on the inside which I can't seem to clean off but who cares- I can eat sandwiches at work! woo hoo!
BalasHapusI received my Toastabags from my sister who read a positive article on the product. I made a cheese and tomato sandwich in the Toastabag. Came out great with no mess. Saves on the calories of oil or butter needed to make a sandwich in the skillet. Wish I knew about these sooner.
BalasHapusTalk about FAST sandwich! Pop bread onto counter, place ham and cheese on slices, squirt mustard, pop it into bag, pop that into the toaster anbd wait 1 minute. The sandwich will be DRY, so if you don't prefer that, you'll need to spread butter on the toasted sandwich. Then afterwards, any cheese that might have melted and slipped into the bag can be wiped out right away with a quick swipe of my finger. Easy cleaning: just squirt a drip of detergent into the bag and swish with water, done. FAB. Kids can do this. Great for after school snacks that they can make on their own and clean up afterwards themselves.
