This is my 2nd George Foreman grill. My first Foreman grill basically exploded because it got water inside of it (obviously it did not have removable plates.) I was gunshy for a long time, but finally decided to crack and buy this remodeled version with removable plates.

I waited too long! This thing is excellent and seems to cook a lot faster than my old one did. By far, the best feature is the removable plates. It makes cleaning a snap. I have a double sink and I just fill each sink with warm, soapy water and place the top plate in one sink and the bottom plate in the other. I wouldn't recommend stacking the removable plates because the one on the bottom could have its nonstick coating scratched by the one on the top. Anyway, I let them soak for about 10 min and wipe them off, rinse and dry. HOW EASY! Especially compared to the old, impossible to clean without ruining version of the Foreman grill.

Also, comes with a grill-molded sponge to make cleaning even easier!

This makes cooking organic/hormone-free meals fun, easy, and practical for people who hate to cook (like me.)
