Best Review on Kitchen Selectives Over Omelette Express
Outstanding...that is the one word to describe this product, it's reliability, and performance. You'll be cooking everything and anything in this just to try it out. Steaming is IT for the wholesome taste, vitamins, and nutrients foods provide unless you just eat it raw.
Not sure why they include a recipe book...nothing to do with the steamer. They just want you to get the cravings (and the pocket book open) to buy the Bread Maker, the Juicer, the blender, and the entire line of Oster appliances.
Not to be knocking Amazon or any of its merchants, but we have seen (and bought ours) at Target for $29.99 and Lowe's hardware had them for the same price. These are not sale items, this was just their standard price points.
So save yourself $20.00, order it online, no tax, no waiting in line, sometimes they offer free shipping.
If there is one thing I have learned this is it:

When I started my search for an omelet pan, I found a lot of these that make sandwiches, deserts and omelets. I just wanted a good omelet pan. This is the best omelet maker I have ever used. It is so easy, non stick and makes perfect omelets. I recommend that no more than 2 eggs to each half of the pan. You will get 2 servings of fluffy beautiful omelets. You will not have any spill over. Clean up is a breeze. Just use a wet paper towel and that is it. If you like omelets, this is the pan for you.
Now if I could just find a good sandwich pan.
This item is much more heavy duty then all of the other items I have looked into (tried to view them in person at retail locations if possible). Heats up very quickly and does a great job cooking eggs as advertised. We also use for grilled cheese/hot sandwiches, sauteing veggies, and making a few big pancakes, cooked one at a time (we just use a little spray oil before cooking). Works great for fast meals and cleans up very easily with a wet paper towel. It's a nice item to have for cooking something fast to get you out the door.

To make a basic egg white omelet with cheese, preheat the device, put in half of one container of two egg whites with 1/8 cup of cheese on top, then the other half of the container of egg whites. Then close the omelet maker for 5 minutes. Finish getting ready for work. Flip the omelet maker, top with another 1/8 cup of cheese and you have a delicious 130 calorie high protein masterpiece... no restaurant needed, all in the time it took you to gather your items to get out the door!

BalasHapusThis is by far the best kitchen gadget since I bought a veggie steamer in college 15 years ago (which still works!!). I can make omelet after omelet and they are sooooo good. I have made them with egg whites and regular eggs. The key is to follow the instructions other than the fact that you will want to turn the unit once the eggs are in for a couple of minutes - I flip it often - LOVE IT!

BalasHapusThe omelets are made within three minutes. The pan is easy to clean with a damp paper towel. I would never go back to making the omelet the old way, stovetop.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She recently got her own apartment and loves to cook, I thought this would be a neat gadget for her to use. She made some doughnuts yesterday, cinnamon sugar,chocolate and plain and they were very tasty.
BalasHapusMy husband LOVES this thing! I got this for him for fathers day and he uses it ALL THE TIME! He only allows about 15 minutes for his breakfast in the mornings, before he leaves for work, so I didn't know if he would use it or not, but he just has all the ingrediants prepared the night before, throws it on in the morning, takes less than 5 minutes and they are PERFECT EVERY TIME! Was his favorite gift!

I have other grills; however they don't heat up like this one.
