Best Review on Zojirushi EA TAC35TK Gourmet Sizzler Electric
This is the most perfect tabletop cooking grill. The temperature is spread VERY evenly like a high grade copper pan on a industrial grade gasoline stove. The pan is stick-free and needs very little cooking oil. I have yet to find any food that stick to the grill. You can remove to the grill and put it into a dishwasher.
I use these to cook everything from eggs, hash browns, beef, soup, sukiyaki, pot stickers, and fried rice. Not only do these cook well, but these cook MUCH better than any of my high grade pots and pans on an electric stove. In fact, I have learned to use these every time I can since I just hate cooking on a stove now.
One of the advantages of cooking on a tabletop is that the food tends to be much hotter and has more sizzle. That's not for everyone especially those who can't handle temperature hot food. But if you like your meat and vegetables fresh off the grill with the sizzle, then these will do the job for you.
The only drawback I find is that these are made for cooking for two. You can cook for more than two but it will obviously take longer.

This pan/sizzler was initially made for potstickers, that is why it is so big. I mean it holds a lot and cooks evenly.
BalasHapusPlace a little oil in the pan, fill the pan with potstickers,(fresh or frozen) you can cram them by placing them in stand up position.
Make sure they are in single layer and in contact with the bottom of the pan. Wait till it is hot and sizzling.
Add 1/2 cup of hot water, cover and "steam dry" untill it sizzles and browns the bottom.
YUM YUM YUM. So easy; it practically slides right out of the pan. Love it!!!!
Ditto to all of the raves on here! I use it for one-dish meals, desserts, breakfasts, everything. My child in college heats frozen pizzas in it, having no oven!
BalasHapusClean-up takes 60 seconds. It slides apart into four parts, three of them washable: pan, lid, silicone base, and the heating element (not washable, but also not soiled). It's the perfect appliance!
I'm headed out to buy the taller d'Expert, to make soup!

BalasHapusgot this pan from Asian super market Assi Pleasant hill rd.in Atlanta, GA today for 75 bucks. first use put all pieces together plug in and turn on at about 280 degree. with wet paper towel and chopstick make a nice cleaning before first use. with the cover on and some marinade pork rib (thin slice) with sweet bbq sauce from the same store. at 280 is hot enough and cook fast. still use wooden chopstick and low but hot enough temp to cook . now time to clean the hot plate. normally i clean any nonstick cookware with wet paper towel and couple drops of Dawn dish soap while it still warm. then i come to an oh now i know why some folks complain that the coating peel off. because they might dip the pan or come in contact to cold water while it sill too hot make them separate by the layer of two or more different material that sandwich together. read instruction said wait until it complete cool down then wash. the sweet bbq sauce stick and dry on the surface and will burn if leave for too long. i low the heat to warm when food are done and keep the lid on until then so no oil or sauce came out and get in to other area where i don't want to be. cleaning just a hot plate is no big deal with wet paper towel and chopstick while it warm to the touch. (or complete cool down) whichever you like. so far i own couple of Zojirushi NS-WAC10 Micom Fuzzy-Logic 5-1/2-Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer one Zojirushi EC-BD15BA Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker one Zojirushi EB-CC15 Indoor Electric Grill one Zojirushi CD-WBC30 Micom Electric 3-Liter Water Boiler and Warmer and this pan ZOJIRUSHI EA-TAC35TK GOURMET SIZZLER but return two sets of bento lunch box Zojirushi SL-JAE14 Mr. Bento Stainless Steel Lunch Jar and Zojirushi SL-NCE09 Ms. Bento Stainless-Steel Vacuum Lunch Jar for they are too funny small for me. pardon for my poor English cause i am Asian American. all in all the thing that led me to Zojirushi brand is a little cute baby elephant trade mark. with little care these product seem to last ten or more years of service. my next product on a wish list is a Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme 2-Pound-Loaf Bread maker.

BalasHapusWell, I needed to replace my old skillet that died. After hearing about the horrors of Teflon and other non-stick coatings that can come off and toxify foods, I conducted research into alternatives. I could not be happier with the titanium ceramic surface of this skillet! I use it all the time and with metal utensils, and it looks just like new. It is soooo easy to just wipe clean. It all disassembles easily so cleaning is not a problem. I saw in another review that there was a crevice food could fall into and not be reachable and I'm thinking that person must not realize it all comes apart. I love the size -- just a little larger than most others. I highly recommend this skillet!!!

BalasHapusGreat just what we were looking for to replace one that stopped working because of old age. Makes great chocolate chip pancakes and stir frys.

BalasHapusI own the smaller Electric d'Expert skillet by Zojirushi and I like it so much I've ordered the larger Sizzler and started using it too. It's got a larger surface and the sides aren't as deep so it's easier to get a spatula into. Also it goes to 480F (call the Fire Department, yee hah). The design is different, but it's a great pan too.
