Empacadora San Marcos Jalapeno 11 Ounce

This is just one of the neatest appliances. I have a two pound loaf bread maker that I like very much, but this one is just great for making specialty breads that a 1 1/2 or 2 pound loaf is
just too much, but if you want to try the tomato-basil rye bread
this is just perfect. A small oval loaf at about a half a pound is just about right for one or two people, but if you want a cheese tray with assorted breads for a party, what fun. The bread comes out of the pan with ease. A loaf of bread in about 45 minutes, what more can you ask. The little loaves make a great little gift. The clean up is very easy. It doesn't make dough, there are two choices of bread types--basic or wheat and on or off, so it is fairly simple. The basic recipe uses just 1 1/3 cups of bread flour. When using wheat or rye flours, you will only be using 1/3 of a cup. The price is right. A great
gift for newlyweds or college students or your aging parents.

  1. I got hooked on these (mild) years ago but could no longer find them locally. After finding these on Amazon,i've orded at least seven cases! Not too hot but with full flavor. Two slices of buttered bread, some peppers, some sharp chedder or ANY cheese and a cheap toasted sandwich maker...WOW!!...Oh!..And the juice they're in is an excellent condiment/pepper sauce!

  2. I buy these at Christmas time to stuff for parties. They are a hit and getting hard to find. :) Some wait for my tray of stuffed peppers with anticipation, and will be disappointed this year if I can't find them.

  3. If you love the jalapeno flavor, but don't want your tongue scorched, these are for you. I love the jalapeno flavor, and can eat these like candy. The seeds and the white pith in the middle have been removed before pickling, so all you get is the flavor. This style of jalapeno was easy to get in South Texas. We used to get the Clemente Jacques brand.
